A dog named Tanna was involved in a tragic hit and run accident at the end of last week and now authorities are asking for your help to find the culprit.

There is a $500 reward for whoever can offer reliable information regarding the hit and run driver that was in a silver or gray sedan on Route 9 in Stafford that struck the American pit bull terrier.

The driver did not even press their breaks after hitting Tanna who died shortly after because of her injuries.

"This dog was so loving and caring," said Tanna's owner April Christine. "We had so many different routines. It's so sad that she's gone. It's empty. Everything feels empty."
