Adele has found happiness again...she has her voice back and an armful of Grammies.

When Adele found out she was going to have to undergo surgery to heal her voice, she spent a lot of time crying over it.....only she found out that crying is really bad for your vocal cords, too.

Adele says dealing with her surgery was traumatic, but she was helped out by fellow musician John Mayer, who had a similar procedure done last year. "John Mayer had it done at the same time as I did," says Adele, "and he really helped me be chilled out about it."

Following the surgery, Adele wasn't allowed to talk for several months, something which she says was actually really good for her. "I think I just needed to be silenced. And when you are silent, everyone else around you is silent. So the noise in my life just stopped," she explained. "It was brilliant. It was my body telling me to fix me...Now I just feel really at peace...In fact, my entire life has changed in the last ten weeks. I've never been so happy, and I love it."
