17- year old Hannah Misyak wants you to bring your family to the "4 Paws Sake Family Fun Fest" at Allaire State Park!

This wonderful event takes place Saturday, April 21st, 11 am - 4 pm, in the Historic Village at Allaire State Park. All proceeds will aid in providing the rescue animals at Rescue Ridge with a safe haven by making renovations to the facilities, as well as providing basic necessities for them. Enjoy entertainment, games, vendors, food trucks, pet adoptions, a pet costume contest, raffle, silent gift auction, and so much more fun for all ages!

Hannah has been volunteering with Rescue Ridge Animal Rescue every weekend for the past 2 years. She chose that non-profit because she shares the common belief that no animal should be turned away. Rescue Ridge prides itself on being a true no-kill rescue.

Hannah reached out to Dr. Adam Christman at Brick Town Veterinary Hospital to ask for his help in sponsoring an event that she has put together all by herself. Adam is one of the biggest animal advocates I know with a huge heart to help those in need.

Hannah's latest and biggest project is the "4 Paws Sake Family Fun Fest", to benefit rescue animals. Since she was little, Hannah has had an immeasurable passion for animals and promised herself that she would advocate for animals and do meaningful things to help save a lot of lives.

Hannah is also an Ambassador Girl Scout. It is her love for animals that motivated Hannah to take on such a large project as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award -- the highest award a Girl Scout can earn. Hannah first joined Girl Scouts at the age of 5 as a Brownie. She has earned both her Bronze and Silver Awards for Girl Scouts.

As for Dr. Adam Christman, he is a long-time friend of mine and of the Point Morning Show and has been on the air many times. Whether it's to sing a duet with me, keep me company on the air when Lou is on vacation, raise money for worthy causes, or give you advice about your pets, Adam is one of the good guys!
