Shouldn't some people be a little more courteous, or a little quiter when they're on their cellphone?
The woman in front of me in line at the supermarket was on the cellphone and was complaining that her nail chipped already, and she only had them done yesterday, and that's the last time she's going there and why did she bother waiting 45 minutes if she was only gonna have to go back tomorrow to get them fixed and that's it she's cutting them short so she doesn't have to deal with this anymore and she doesn't have time for this anyway and while she's at it she's going to cut her hair too because that's wasting too much time every morning and it never comes out right anyway and even when it does nobody notices.
Was anybody on the other end? Did it really matter?
She went on to say that the girl at work constantly looks her up and down as if she's jealous or something. Apparently, according to the girl on the phone, if she was so jealous she should hit the gym once a month and stop dressing like she's twenty. Which apparently she "certainly is not".
And as for her husband...well he could ...well I can't say it, but don't worry..that would require he get his...umm...we'll just say self off "his girlfriend the couch".
Did I mention this was the express line...12 complaints or less.
The kicker was when she started complaining about her best friend, who isn't much of a best friend since she never lets this girl get a word in edgewise. Really?? I wanted to lean over and say"I think your friend hung up about an hour ago," but I was afraid of what she'd say about me.

I'm not saying the girl didn't have the right to be upset about all of those things. I'm just wondering why I had to hear it. All of it.
