Do you remember when we sat around on Christmas Day in our short sleeve shirts wondering if it would ever get cold at the Jersey Shore this winter?

Well, I think we have our answer today. Let's officially welcome Winter 2016 to the Jersey Shore. We're expecting temperatures to barely reach the 30's today, even though the wind will make it feel like the low 20's all day.

The early (Tuesday) morning wind chill registered -5 , meaning if you compare that number to the high on Christmas Day, just a short 11 days ago, we have experienced an 80 degree swing in our temperatures.

So, for those who thought we'd pay for our warm December, today is a day that makes it hard to argue against that theory. Dan Zarrow's forecast does have some good news though with warmer temperatures on the way soon. Check out Dan's updated forecast anytime.
