Justin Bieber was nowhere to be found at the 2012 Grammys, but the soon-to-be 18-year-old insists that he’ll dominate the awards show next year.

On Sunday, the Canadian superstar was nominated in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category for his song ‘Born to Be Somebody’ from ‘Justin Bieber: Never Say Never,’ but lost to ‘I See the Light’ from ‘Tangled.’ Nevertheless, The Biebs remained confident.

“Congrats to all the winners tonight,” he wrote on Twitter. “Glad to see friends of mine doing there thing. Next year we are coming with #BELIEVE.”

Moments later, he added, “And one more thing… I was born to be somebody..aint nothing that’s ever gonna stop me! #BELIEVE.”

Bieber is currently in the studio working on his new album, ‘Believe,’ which is set to arrive this year. The pop star is reportedly collaborating with a slew of music heavyweights on his next release, including Usher, Kesha, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams. Still, Justin will have plenty of creative say on his new LP.

“He’s pretty adamant about writing a lot of [the album],” manager Scooter Braun told Billboard last year. “And he played me some stuff that he’s been doing on his own. He wrote this amazing song that sounds like a Jodeci record. I’m really excited for him. This kid can sing his a– off. He’s coming into his own.”
