Last Week Of Summer? Not For Locals

It is affectionately known around the Jersey Shore as Local Summer, and it is a wonderful time.

We know what it means to live at the Jersey Shore. We know what a summer at the Shore is all about. There is sun and beach and warmth and boardwalks. And there is also traffic and crowds and no parking. It comes with the territory.

But when Local Summer arrives, the sun and the beach and the warmth and the boardwalks are all there, but the traffic is better, the crowds lighten up and you can actually find a parking spot. It's our turn.

So, as we say goodbye to August and plan for Labor Day Weekend, we know that a Local Summer at the Jersey Shore is just beginning, and that's a great thing!
