Local Production of Wizard of Oz Opens Soon!

Bring YOUR Munchkins to the Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan to see THEIR Munchkins in The Wizard of Oz!

Follow Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto on their adventure down the Yellow Brick Road to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Adapted from the classic motion picture, this musical features all of the beloved characters.

And you can meet the cast on August 4th, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. Follow the Yellow Brick Road with Glinda, Dorothy and Toto to the "Over the Rainbow Cupcake Party" before The Wizard of Oz on Sunday. Children who attend will enjoy a meet-and-greet with characters, create a crafty memento and eat delicious cupcakes. Oz-themed costumes are encouraged! Show tickets for the 3 p.m. performance must be purchased separately. Adults ticketed to the performance can attend the party with the child they are accompanying at no cost. Children $15 for the meet and greet.

Showings of this great stage presentation are August 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m., Aug.4 at 3 p.m., Aug 8 at 2 p.m., Aug .9 at 7:30 p.m., Aug.10 at 1:30 p.m., and Aug.11 at 3 p.m. Adults are $33/28, Child/Student $23/18.
