Lou Says Goodbye To This Jersey Shore Spring

Hey Spring 2016...see ya! And not a moment too soon as far as I'm concerned, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

This spring was tough to take. We waited all winter for you to get here, spring. You teased us with some really warm amazing days and then you disappeared. You literally disappeared on us. You were cold and windy all the time.

And let's not even talk about the rain. You rained on us every day for like three weeks straight. You were soggy and gray and I didn't like it. This year the phrase should have been 'April showers bring May showers'. And for good measure, you sprinkled pollen all over us so we could sneeze and blow our noses the whole time.

Well, now we're kicking off summer, and we have high hopes for it. I know you'll technically be hanging around a while longer, but here at the Jersey Shore, you're unofficially outta here this weekend!

See you next year spring. We'll be waiting for you with open arms after another Jersey Shore winter I'm sure, but do us all a little favor, and pack some sunshine next year. Thanks.
