We are all keeping a close watch on Hurricane Matthew,  but no one is keeping a closer eye than our Meteorologist Dan Zarrow.

Here's the latest from Dan on this dangerous storm...

"The good news of the morning is that almost everything flipped the storm to the east this weekend, so a direct hit on New Jersey is now unlikely.  Not completely certain - I still have some hesitations, and reserve the right to amend this forecast for the next 24 hours or so - but this is a much happier forecast than I presented yesterday morning.

But if the latest forecast models verify, Matthew will go down as one of the strangest hurricanes in history.  Both the GFS and European models show the storm making a loop de loop off the southeast U.S. coast, and potentially hitting the Atlantic coast of Florida twice.  There are no words to describe how weird this is.

Of course, this strange track also means we have to leave the door open for Matthew impacts down the road, after its loop.  Even as late as next weekend".
