Our Point Pet of the Week is a 7-year old Terrier mix who needs a forever home.

Kermit is a sweet boy who, once again, finds himself at the Monmouth County SPCA while awaiting a loving home. He originally came to the shelter from a less than ideal situation, and then got adopted into what everyone thought would be his permanent home.

But, unfortunately, after about 6-months his new parents ran into some personal problems that left then unable to care for Kermit. So, once again, Kermit is back at the shelter.

If you are in need of a Valentine this year, Kermit is your boy. He is looking for a long-term relationship and is not afraid to commit to loving you forever, unconditionally. This is a sweet dog who loves to relax on a nice, comfy bed and take in the sights, He is very affectionate and would love to keep you company every night on the couch, snuggling and keeping you warm.

Kermit is smart, too, and knows how to sit and walk very nicely on a leash. He loves car rides and thrives when he gets to be the center of attention, so he will need to be an only-pet in your home.

You can meet Kermit at the Eatontown location of the MCSPCA, 260 Wall Street, 7 days a week from Noon to 5 pm.
