Tomorrow night you're invited to come out and support drug and crime prevention awareness....while having some fun with your neighbors and friends!

National Night Out Against Crime 2013 is Tuesday, August 6th. It's a chance for many area towns and communities to come together to heighten awareness about crime and drugs and how to prevent them.

It's also a great chance to come together with local police, town officials, and neighbors to promote neighborhood unity and safety and to showcase the vital importance of citizen involvement.

National Night Out Against Crime also sends a message to criminals letting them know that communities are organized and will fight back.

Some of the local locations that you can attend this great event and have some fun with your family include:

-- The National Guard Training Center (Army Camp) in Sea Girt from 5 pm - 8 pm. A Canine demonstration by the Wall Police, Classic Car show, hot dogs and burgers, live music...something for everyone in your family! All are welcome!  Sponsored by the Sea Girt Police Department.

-- Winward Beach, Princeton Avenue in Brick Township will feature police exhibits, demonstrations, games and more. 6 pm - 9 pm.

-- Slocum Park, Long Branch, with The Point Van bringing pirzes, 6 pm - 8 pm.

-- Front Street, Union Beach, The Point brings the Hydration Station tent to sample the nTH Degree, 6 pm - 8 pm.
