It's no surprise to get an added dose of patriotism during the Olympics. There's nothing like seeing an athlete in the red, white and blue reaching for the gold. But at the London 2012 Games, I'm finding myself feeling the Jersey pride as I watch our athletes from the Garden State give their all!

Certainly we'd all love to see Christie Rampone bring the gold home to the Garden State as the captain of the U.S. Women's Soccer Team. And of course there's Rebecca Soni, who was born in Freehold, and lived in Plainsboro, going for the gold today in the Women's 200 meter breaststroke finals. Oh yeah, by the way, yesterday she set the world record in that event during the semi finals yesterday!

So every once in a while while we're chanting U S A! U S A!,  we should throw in a New Jer Sey!
