New Jersey’s Favorite Christmas Song is Extremely Surprising

It's not that New Jersey's pick for the best Christmas song is bad, it's just surprising.

Mostly because there are so many incredible singers from right here in the Garden State. Shockingly, one of their Christmas songs wasn't the number-one pick in New Jersey.

I thought for sure it would be Bruce Springsteen's, "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town."

Of course, that would be a great choice for New Jersey's most popular Christmas song, right?

That wasn't the case! Very surprising in my opinion.

Next, I thought it had to be New Jersey's very own Frank Sinatra and his version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."

It's such a beautiful song, but NOPE. That wasn't that either.

How about Bon Jovi? "Please Come Home For Christmas" is a great choice, but again the answer is no.

So what is New Jersey's favorite Christmas song?

Well, according to FinanceBuzz, it's Mariah Carey's, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."

It's been nearly 30 years since its release. I think it's a great song, I'm just surprised it was New Jersey's number-one pick.

You either love that song or hate it. Turns out, it was also voted the most annoying Christmas song in the same survey.

What about New York and Pennsylvania? According to the survey, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" takes the top spot in those two states too.

Turns out, most of the Northeast region and the South picked that one.

Out West, "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" is the number one song, and in the Midwest, there's a four-way tie between "Run Rudolph Run," "Jingle Bells," Deck the Halls," and "A Holly Jolly Christmas."

All four are great songs!
