U.S. News & World Report, a well-respected publication has put out a list of the top 27 East Coast destinations in America, and one amazing New Jersey beach town has made that list.

In many cases, the first two towns that might cross our minds are the legendary Garden State towns of Cape May and Atlantic City. They both receive a lot of honor.

This time, however, Stone Harbor is the one Jersey Shore town that made the list of the top 25 East Coast destinations.

This gorgeous Shore town is in Cape May County and captures all the tranquility and beauty the Jersey Shore is known for.

Stone Harbor doesn't get a lot of headlines, but it should. It has earned its place on the best East Coast destinations list.

There are certainly other Garden State towns that could have fit nicely on this list, like Spring Lake, Point Pleasant Beach, Wildwood, Seaside Heights, Belmar, and Avalon. Each is a beautiful town in its own right.
