No Denying It Now, Winter Temperatures Have Hit The Jersey Shore

I walked across the Point parking lot this morning. It was 12 degrees with a wind chill of -8. There is literally no way to describe that feeling, is there? I think it's even worse for me because I'm a summer person. All the Jersey Shore brochures show warm beaches, boardwalks and sausage and pepper sandwiches. You never see a picture of a person struggling through a windswept parking lot, with a winter coat, scarf and a cold tear streaming down her face.

If it makes you feel better, I found some record low temperatures on wikipedia.com that may make today seem warm. I'm trying not to complain. I know there are lots of winter fans around the Shore and I respect that. But I'm cold today. Really cold.
