One person is dead following a police-involved shooting at the Pine Acres Manor mobile home park in Manchester Township overnight, according to multiple reports.

But few details about the shooting or what lead up to it have been released so far.

Ocean County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Al Della Fave confirmed to New Jersey 101.5 Saturday morning that a police-involved shooting occurred.  He said a member of his office was involved, but provided no further details, including the location and time. He referred all questions to the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, which investigates such incidents.

Manchester police also referred questions to the OAG. A message left for the OAG Saturday mroning had not yet been returned.

News 12 reports that according to witnesses at the mobile home park, the confrontation involved a man who had weapons barricaded in his home, however, authorities have not confirmed that account.

"I'm just frustrated myself, because I have no confirmation, no exact clue what happened," a worker at the Pine Acres office who declined to provide his name said. "I'm just waiting for the police to tell me something. I'm as clueless as anyone else. But it's a shame, regardless."
