We asked you to name your favorite weekend destination here at the Jersey Shore. This is one of those questions that doesn't have a wrong answer, and the results were very interesting.

In our survey, we named some of the more popular weekend destinations in both Monmouth and Ocean Counties, and we also gave you the opportunity to enter your own answer, in case your favorite destination wasn't on our list.

And now the results are in. It was a real battle between the top two towns. Now, here are the Jersey Shore residents top three favorite local weekend destinations according to your vote.

Point Pleasant...38%

Asbury Park...29%

LBI...13%

Belmar and Seaside tied for 4th with 8% and Bradley Beach got the remaining 4%. So there it is. Our favorite destinations for a Jersey Shore weekend. How lucky are we to have these, and many other great choices in Monmouth and Ocean Counties!
