Ryan Gosling Got “Notebook” Job Because He Wasn’t Cute!

Ryan Gosling was told by 'Notebook' director Nick Cassavetes that he got the job because he wasn't good looking, according to yahoo.com. As a guy, I can usually understand Nick's mistake. Guys mostly have no idea if another guy is good looking. But I have found a way to cut the confusion.

I just watch a movie starring the guy in question with my wife. If she watches quietly, with a grin on her face, then I know he's a hottie. Liz and Nancy talked me into watching Crazy, Stupid, Love. Not only was my wife grinning quietly, but I don't think she blinked for two hours. So I'm going out on a limb to say I think Nick Cassavetes got this one wrong.
