“Somewhere Over The Rainbow” is being sung by some of the surviving students from the Connecticut Elementary School Shooting. And you can purchase a copy to help raise money for the victims’ families.

Two former members of the Talking Heads hosted the recording session at their Connecticut home on Monday. The children are all from Newtown, where the tragedy took place. The kids recorded the song with a singer/songwriter and copies are now on sale on Amazon and iTunes.

Proceeds from this special recording of “Over the Rainbow” will benefit the United Way of Western Connecticut and the Newtown Youth Academy.
