You've heard and seen the commercials, maybe you've actually witnessed the ride from afar. How awesome is Six Flags Great Adventure's "Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom?" Matt Ryan strapped on a GoPro camera so you could get an idea!

Zumanjaro is the tallest drop tower in the world. It takes you 415 feet (roughly 40 stories) in the air and then drops you back down to earth at 90 miles per hour. I've always loved rides at Great Adventure, so I was really excited to take the drop with Colleen Hall, 943thepoint.com's Digital Managing Editor.

First, you climb up the tower and get an amazing view of the park and beyond. At 415 feet you can see for miles and miles.

We continued to climb higher and higher, at which at one point Colleen said: "we're not at the top yet?"

That's what's cool. You are so high in the air and amazed at the breathtaking views that you're not really sure when or if you're at the top of the ride.

Even better, you really have no idea when you're going to drop! Once you hit the peak of the climb there's a brief pause and before you realize you're at the top, the free fall begins.

The 90 mph drop was stomach-tightening, but so much fun! Even though the trip down is not even five seconds, you still get an incredible adrenaline rush.

Ride fans, I highly recommend Zumanjaro. It's totally worth the wait!
