The New Jersey Forest Fire Service sent two air tankers to help knock out the flames which broke out along Reed Road in the Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area. Reed Road runs the length of the back of the theme park's Off Road Adventure Safari.

Crews are used bulldozers to set backfires in an effort to stop the fire from spreading.

The fire is estimated to be 25 acres in size and was completely contained by 11:30 p..m. Monday night.

Park Spokesperson Kristin Siebeneicher said in an email that the fire is not on park property and has not had an effect on park operations.
