Snow Cat

Yesterday was the first time I saw snowflakes this year...but they were few and far between.

I got a kick out of the fact that the only way I could even get a picture of the snowflakes was to let our outdoor neighborhood cat come onto my porch so I could get a picture of the snow on his black fur!

Although the first few snowflakes were pretty....looks like we're not getting out of this winter unscathed.

So get prepared, and hang on ... and maybe say a prayer or two that this winter's snow and ice isn't as bad, and doesn't last as long, as the last few winters!
