Shocking Banner Flown

It's a sight we are all used to seeing at the beach, a plane flying a banner promoting a local club or bar. But, what if you saw this on one of those banners?

It's one of the most hateful, vile symbols - the swastika. It represents the death of millions of human beings. How could this symbol be flying over Jersey beaches?

According to Chasing New Jersey, a religious group partially based on extraterrestrials known as the Raelians has purchased banner plane ads flying the swastika symbol over Jersey Shore beaches in order to – as they say – "restore its image" to one of positivity.

This group celebrates "swastika rehabilitation week" and spent a pretty penny spreading their message over the beaches of NJ, most recently on LBI and in NY.

The Raelians say that Adolf Hitler and the Nazis gave the symbol a negative image and that before that the swastika was a positive symbol.

Let's keep this short and sweet. This is disgusting. Who cares about the "history" of the swastika! It's best known for being the primary symbol of hate, torture and death. As mentioned in this video, ask a survivor or the family of a survivor about how the swastika can be interpreted.
