The summer season always brings a smile to my face. As I age, the warmer weather is also rather comforting to my body. Some would argue the Jersey Shore weather tends to get too hot. When it comes to the humidity, I would agree. But I would take a warm climate over a cold climate every day of the week.

It was an unusual scene on the North Wildwood beach Tuesday afternoon when a boat ran aground.

Wow. If you haven't hit the beach in Ocean City yet this spring, you may be the only one, lol.

Some towns and beaches have fees to get onto the sand, but a new bill that just received approval in the state senate would allow towns to waive fees for military veterans.

After what felt like a year of doom and gloom, it feels good to be able to breathe in the Jersey Shore air…without a mask. Depending on the tide, it should smell better than our own breath.

When you head to a beach this summer, for a tan or a dip or swim in the water, there's a few key rules to follow.

Every time I log onto Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter I see foxes. They're running the beach, bright and beautifully colored, and being trailed by pups. It is quite the sight, generating (in total) thousands of likes, comments, and shares. Of course, I thought I'd share some with you. PS - The fox above is a stock image. You finally get the perfect day. It's not too hot, the ocean is warm and you're off to your spot on the beach. You're looking forward to a nice, relaxing peaceful day when one of these things happens.

With Summer approaching and beaches getting ready to open, there's an important message that needs to be said to those who sit too close to others at the Jersey Shore.
