Eating out is my absolute favorite hobby! When a new and unique place comes to the Jersey Shore I'm already putting on my bib. LOL now that's an image...who wears a bib? Anyway, Kevin Newberg is bringing us a Montreal beef and poutine joint in Belmar and locals are licking their chops!

I am so excited and very thankful to be working with the Monmouth County SPCA! This is a great opportunity for all of us to come together and help save thousands of homeless animals in New Jersey...

A BIG congratulations to Berg's Smoked Meat & Poutine for setting up shop on Main Sreet. Berg's has been selling out of a ghost kitchen in Asbury Park, now they will be bringing their talents to Belmar. Their time in Belmar will be similar to working out of a "ghost kitchen" but now Berg's will have the opportunity to offer dine-in & takeout!

It's not often that a business is described as a landmark in a community. This eatery is a landmark and is responsible for many great memories and meals. Sadly, their doors have closed.

Bamboo is a very interesting plant. It's the fastest-growing plant on the planet and it was once recorded growing at an amazing 47.6 inches in a 24 hour period. It's a beautiful plant and I hope to grow it in my backyard one day, but it's almost impossible to maintain.

Remember Jack's Tavern? Many Belmar locals, including myself, wish it was still around. The LIVE music was great, the food was solid, and how can anyone forget about the freshly squeeze screwdrivers? Now the vacant building on 10th ave is getting a facelift and to be honest, I have no idea what's going on?!

If I'm not broadcasting shows or writing articles for 94.3 The Point, I am probably in the ocean bodyboarding. It's my favorite hobby and I like to tell people that being a radio personality is my profession but being a bodyboarder is my passion. There are days I wish I was riding massive waves for a living, but let's be real, bodyboarding in New Jersey doesn't pay the bills...or does it?

NJ.com just released New Jersey's 29 best soft-serve ice cream spots. The Strollos in Belmar got totally disrespected!
