I've said many times before that I hate politics...and that in most cases, I can't stand politicians. Our leaders have really been put to the test in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and while some failed, others should be commended.
Even if you were fortunate enough to not suffer major damage from Sandy, odds are you have no power, and all you can do is wait. And odds are you have headed to the gas station to fill your car or generator, and all you can do is wait there as well.
The Jersey Shore is famous for being home to good strong people. Patience however, has never been one of our strong point, but hey, that's who we are. But since Sandy, we all have to reach down deep and muster as much patience as we can.
