The first "Get Wired" Technology Fair is coming to Monmouth Mall in Eatontown.

This event, presented by the Social Community Activities Network (SCAN) will take place this Saturday, April 2nd, in the basement level of Monmouth Mall.

It's aimed at getting those still resistant to using technology to realize that computers, tablets, and cell phones are beneficial to their lives so that they can learn and embrace the tech at our fingertips every day.

National keynote speaker Adriane Berg will talk about how technology can help you in every aspect of your life, from your health and money to your relationships.

Other featured technology talks will include:

-- Telehealth: How you can consult with a physician remotely, how to keep your medical records secure, medical technology and monitors, and more.

-- Home Safety: Comprehensive home security and automation services to give you peace of mind with an easy app on your phone.

PLUS, a Breakout Session where you can work one-on-one with a tech-friendly student from Monmouth University to learn more about your devices like iPhones, iPads, Android Smartphos and Android tablets. Open to everyone!

It all takes place this Saturday, April 2nd. Registration begins at 10 am. Keynote speaker 10:30 - 11:15, 1st session 11:30-12, 2nd session Noon - 12:30, Breakout session 12:30 - 1:30.
