I finally took my Christmas Tree down...and here's how I'm storing it.

If you have a 'fake' Christmas tree, have you ever tried plastic-wrapping it? I've seen photos of people doing it for years. And, considering that I can never successfully get my tree back into the same box that it came out of, I thought this would keep it nice and tight and tidy.

Plus, it will save me the stress of having to figure out, again, how to line up and insert the various parts in order to get the three parts of the tree locked in correctly, and the electric wires lined up so that the plugs reach each other and the lights work! No longer to I have to match up the 'A's, 'B's and 'C's!

It was really quite simple to wrap. I didn't even use industrial-strength wrap. Just regular old plastic wrap...the same kind I use to cover dishes in the refrigerator. It took me two rolls, but that was because I wanted several layers of it to keep the tree as 'snug as a bug in a rug'.

For me, this will make it oh, so much easier to store. And yes, we took the ornaments off first...since decorating the tree is something the boys like to do every holiday season.

Did you take your tree down yet? If it's not real, how and where will you store it?
