The Best Bars of Asbury Park Ranked

With the Memorial Day Weekend upon us, you are probably wondering which bars to hit in Asbury Park!

Just in time for summer, NJ.Com came up with the ultimate ranking of 39 destinations, and you might be surprised to see how high -or how low-some of your favorite watering holes ranked.

However, The Wonder Bar earned a choice spot in the Top 5 and rightly so. Not only does the club serve up quality entertainment--Bruce Springsteen made a "surprise" appearance last summer, and John Eddie is appearing Saturday night (May 28)--but the burgers are quite good, and pet lovers can bring their precious pooches to Yappy Hour, which provides a swimming pool for active dogs looking to keep cool.

Other clubs getting love on the list: Bond Street Bar + Capitoline + Basement Bar, Asbury Ale House, Brickwall Tavern + The Annex (which supports local breweries like Asbury Park's Dark City and Ocean Township's Kane), Watermark (Bonus!
