While The Bamboozle Festival is known for bringing together artists from throughout the country and across the globe, one featured group won't be traveling far.

For more than 20 years, The Bouncing Souls have brought fans a signature style of upbeat, anthemic punk rock born right here in the Garden State.

The band came of age amid the vibrant early 90's punk rock scene of New Brunswick, but they now call Asbury Park home.

With eight studio albums under their belt since their formation in 1987, The Bouncing Souls earned their stripes through years of hard touring and renowned live performances. Remarkably, the band has stayed viable and successful while maintaining a strong, do-it-yourself ethos.

The band releases their music through their own independent label, Chunksaah Records. They also maintain control of the production of all of their t-shirts and other fan merchandise and rather than use a tour bus, travel the country in two vans they drive themselves.

Musically, the band embraced a fast-paced, optimistic and sometimes lighthearted form of punk rock with a positive message that fans young and old can embrace.

The Bouncing Souls will perform on Sunday, May 20 as part of the three-day Bamboozle Festival. Click here for more information.
