It's the first official look at the next chapter in the "Star Wars," story, subtitled "The Force Awakens,"  and includes the familiar site of the Millennium Falcon and ty fighters.

Also seen and heard are unfamiliar characters including a storm trooper without his helmet suddenly popping up in the desert as a dark voice warns of "awakening in the force." a young fighter and a hooded figure walking through a snowy woods carrying a new style light sabre.

The trailer was supposed to debut in 30 select theaters across the country, the closest to the Jersey Shore being at least an hour away in Manhattan and a theater outside Philadelphia). The debut got bumped to iTunes before appearing on YouTube on Friday morning.

No doubt the video will be picked apart for clues about the next chapter. The film opens in theaters in December, 2015.

Rolling Stone, meanwhile, got fooled by what was pitched as the real trailer and even reviewed it before readers pointed out the fake and the review was pulled according to the watchdog site Mediaite.
