Now the Monmouth County SPCA is trying to find this beautiful, gentle 7-year-old a new home in time for Christmas.

Bunker is an American Eskimo dog who came to the Monmouth County SPCA as a stray in the Middletown area during the weekend of Hurricane Sandy. He was so stressed out by the storm that one of their caring Veterinary Technicians spent the night cuddling with him to make sure he was okay.

He has made great strides since being in the care of the SPCA, and he would make a terrific companion. He really enjoys going for walks, and he loves his food! Bunker likes attention, and has long, flowing, soft white fur.

He would make a great companion to someone older who can't move as swiftly as they once did. Bunker is very laid back and you will immediately fall in love with this precious animal.

You can meet Bunker at The Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street in Eatontown.
