Patch reports the rankings are based on things like student to teacher ratio, SAT and AP scores, and the percentage of graduates who enroll in some form of college within 16 months.

Monmouth County was well-represented, securing 3 spots on the list of Top 20 Public High Schools. My alma mater, Marlboro High School came in at #9, followed by Rumson-Fair Haven Regional at #10. Holmdel High School was ranked #12.

Monmouth County dominated the list of Top 10 Vocational High Schools, with all 5 career academies making the cut.
