Usain Bolt Had the Classiest Moment of the Olympics So Far

Julia Vynokurova/Getty Images

This is a moment that exemplifies the spirit of the Games perfectly.

Shortly after his victory in the 100-meters, Bolt was being interviewed by a Spanish television crew. Meanwhile, across the stadium American Sanya Richards-Ross was on the podium receiving her gold medal for the 400-meters.

Bolt paused the interview, turned away from the camera and stood at attention as “The Star Spangled Banner” played over the loudspeaker. Once the anthem finished, he turned back and continued.

Very classy move from the fastest man in the world.
