We've all heard of and seen brides wearing sneakers, flip flops, and even ballet slippers under their wedding dresses. But clunky white Uggs? Really?

My sister wore white converse sneakers under her wedding gown and it looked adorable. Why not opt for comfort under all of that glamour, on a day that you DON'T want to worry about your feet hurting.

Living at the beach, I've seen many wedding parties all dressed up in their gowns and tuxedos with flip flops on their feet while they take pictures on the boardwalks and in the sand.

And hey, who doesn't like the comfort of a pair of fuzzy boots when you are getting ready to cuddle up to your new husband?

After all, even when a great outfit calls for an even greater pair of heels, most of us keep a 'back up' pair of comfortable shoes in our bag....so what better day than your wedding day to not have to suffer in heels?
