From today (April 25th) through May 25th you may notice some low flying helicopters over parts of Monmouth County. But there's no need to be alarmed.

The yellow and white helicopter is part of a JCP&L project that will take place over Neptune Township, Howell, Wall, Colts Neck and Tinton Falls, according to the Neptune Township Police Dept. Facebook page.

The helicopters are expected to fly at low speeds and may drop to 50 to 100 feet above the ground at times, and there could be brief road closures. The project begins today and is expected to last a month.
