A New Jersey town made the top 10 in a recent search for the coolest small towns in America. The search was done by nbcnews.com, and although it’s not a Monmouth or Ocean County town, many Jersey shore residents love it. So which town is it?

If you said Cape May, you got it right. Nbcnews.com raves about Cape May’s amazing Victorian houses, the butterfly gardens and of course, you can’t talk about Cape May without mentioning the ghosts. And did you know Cape May is considered America’s oldest beach resort?

Cape May came in at #7 on the Top 10 Coolest Small Towns in America List. Beaufort, North Carolina and Hammondsport, NY tied for the top spot.
