We are enjoying some really warm weather this week at the Jersey Shore, and today we have a chance at record breaking warmth.

Our meteorologist Dan Zarrow says our high should be in the mid 70's, so how close will that be to a record. Dan says the unofficial record high at Freehold is 78, set way back in 1948 and 76 for Long Branch from 1994. So there's a decent chance we'll see a record.

Dan says there's a real good chance a part of the state, probably the northwest will see temperatures break the 80 mark. Temperatures around here will get back to a more seasonal low to mid 50's on Sunday.
