Women’s Expo In Monmouth County Offers Fashion, Shopping, Celebrities, and Health Experts

Gather your gal pals and treat yourselves to a day away from your kids, husbands, NFL and World Series this weekend with some Girl Time!

The New Jersey Women's Expo will showcase our area's best products, services, seminars and attractions created especially for women:

-- Meridian Health's top doctors will inform you about breast health, gynecological health, sleep disorders and provide health screenings.

-- Christie Rampone, captain of the gold medal winning US Women's Soccer Team will be on hand Saturday from 1 pm - 3 pm, joining Meridian Health's Physician Panel on the stage at 1 pm to talk about fitness. She will also be available for a meet and greet afterwards!

-- Chef Carol Maxwell , the Chief Bakery Chef at Sickles Market will give a cooking demonstration on Sunday at 2 p.m.

-- Marilyn Schlossback, Restaurateur of Langosta Lounge, Trinity and the Pope, and more, will give a cooking demonstration Saturday at 4 p.m.

-- General Hospital's Laura Wright ("Carly") will make a special appearance to talk about her life on and off of GH, followed by a meet and greet, Saturday at 2 p.m.

There will also be fashion shows, plenty of shopping, and a wine tasting tent to benefit Mary's Place By The Sea for women recovering from cancer.

Parking is free in lots 6 and 7 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft at the Collins Arena. Saturday, Oct. 27, 11 am - 6pm and Sunday, Oct. 28, 11 am - 5 pm, admission is $10.
