3-D Imax Classic Wizard of Oz is Coming

Monkeys flying right at you and a five-story high Wicked Witch! Coming this September!

The Wizard of Oz is going to be re-released in 3-D Imax! And this time the flying monkeys will be coming right at you. And the Wicked Witch will look way larger than life!

The Wizard of Oz will hit theaters for only one week, starting September 20th, 2013, to celebrate the movie's 75th anniversary.

After that, a limited collector's edition will be available on DVD, Blue-Ray, and other formats. (Think Christmas present!)

In addition to the 3D version of the movie, the 5-disc set will include a making-of documentary with the interviews with the cast. It'll also include a ruby slippers globe, collectors pins, a map of Oz and a 48-page hardcover book.
