Announcing the 2018 Monmouth County School Spirit Champions

What a month! We've been doing the Monmouth School Spirit battles for many years and this year, by far had the most engagement.

Last Monday we had narrowed the field down to three elite high schools:

• Middletown North
• Ocean Township
• Wall Township

There were a total of 16,831 votes and it was close the whole week. However, we have a champion!

Middletown North Lions - 29.1%

Wall Township Crimson Knights - 32.33%

Ocean Township Spartans - 38.57% - WINNER!

The Spartans voted 6,492 times to give them the win.

We will be presenting you with an award for your accomplishment at an upcoming school event. Stay tuned.

Congratulations and thank you to all of our Monmouth schools that participated.

Ocean Township, your work is not done yet.

94.3 The Point's sister station 92.7 WOBM did an Ocean County School Spirit battle and Brick Memorial won it all. Spartans, do you have what it takes to take over the Shore?
