After the last 10 months that we have all had...this isn't the biggest surprise.

Unfortunately another Jersey Shore St. Patrick's Day celebration has been canceled for 2021...and it's a big one.

Organizers and NJ Officials have just revealed that the Asbury Park St. Patrick's Day Parade will not be happening.

"This decision was made in the interest of health and safety. We would like to thank all of those who supported the parade and continue to do so. We look forward to seeing everyone on March 13, 2022," was written on the town's website.

The silver lining....they are already planning the Asbury St. Patrick's Day celebration for 2022....and we will have time to make up for so I hope you are prepared to come decked out in green to celebrate.

And unfortunately, Asbury Park is not the only Jersey Shore town to cancel upcoming events.

St. Patrick's Day parades in Belmar, Rumson, Ocean County and Highlands BUT....all of these towns are also plan on having a big celebration in 2022.

P.S. If you are one of the people responsible for having Asbury Park listed as one of the 50 worst cities to live in....please don't attend any upcoming Asbury celebration.

Thank you in advance.

But in the mean time....maybe plan for an at-home St. Patrick's Day celebration?

Grab some Jameson, Guinness, corned beef with hash and green pajamas and call it a day? I know it's not the same but at least we are celebrating the holiday without putting others at risk.

Just hang in there. This won't be forever.
