Three New Jersey Locations Expected To Close As Retailer Files For Bankruptcy
NO!!
A popular home goods retailer located in 40 states has filed for bankruptcy and will be closing 26 stores across the country, including 3 locations here in New Jersey, according to reports.

This has always been one of those stores I could get lost in for hours. It offers just about anything you could possibly need for your home, including pillows, candles, mirrors, rugs, furniture, you name it.
Home Goods Retailer Files For Bankruptcy
However, like so many other stores we've been hearing about in recent years, Forever 21, buybuy Baby, Big Lots, Family Dollar, they're just not seeing the "foot traffic" like they once did, but that's just one of several reasons they cited for the closures and recent bankruptcy filing, according to the Asbury Park Press.
The company also pointed to macroeconomic issues, including rapid and dramatic rise in interest rates, persistent inflation and concerns over unsustainable customs costs resulting from increased tariffs. Filings also stated that retailers are contending with reduced foot traffic in stores, while battling competition from off-price retailers that offer substantial discounts.
At Home Closing Three New Jersey Locations
At Home is expected to close the following three locations in New Jersey:
- Middletown Township: 1361 NJ-35
- Ledgewood: 461 Route 10 East
- Princeton: 301 Nassau Park Blvd.
The stores are expected to close by the end of the year, and additional stores could close in the future.
We'll have to wait and see, but I'll keep you posted if I hear of any other locations closing.
