They might be the tech-savvy characters who invaded bank accounts by rigging an ATM in Brick Township. Perhaps surveillance technology will trip them up.

Brick Township police suspect that they're the ones who placed a card-skimmer on the automated teller machine at the OceanFirst branch on Chambers Bridge Road this past weekend. They're urging anyone who recognizes them to step forward.

The device intercepts and records data from cards inserted by customers, opening access to their accounts. Police earlier this week said that some transactions were discovered as far afield as the New York City area.

The individual in the daytime photo attached it, and the one in the nighttime image removed it, authorities said, adding that disguises might be in play as well.

Brick PD detectives are also combing through surveillance video from surrounding businesses. They can be reached at 732-262-1120.
