Another one bites the dust.

Plus-sized women's clothing retailer Avenue will close their 222 stores according to a press release from the company handling their liquidation.

The reason behind the company shutting down was not really addressed. More of the focus was put on the "everything must go" savings.

The release touted "incredible savings" and "great selections and styles" at the closing sale. The added "given the popularity of the brand and the seasonal trends, merchandise is sure to sell out quickly. We are encouraging consumers to shop early and take advantage of these offers.”

Expect 30% to 50% off the lowest ticketed price.

Avenue has two local locations. One in Toms River in Hooper Commons and the other in Holmdel Plaza.
