How Many New Jersey Parents Have Baby Name Regret?

It turns out that this happens to a surprising number of moms, so if you're having regret, you're not alone.

BabyCenter's latest baby names research report shows that nearly 1 in 10 parents say they wish they had chosen a different name for their child.

With 6% of moms going as far as legally changing their child's name after birth.

Name regret is not something that kicks in right away, typically setting in about a year after your baby is born.

There are a few reasons why some moms start to regret their decision with 10% of moms saying their child's name just doesn't suit their baby's personality and 15% of moms have had people negatively critique or make fun of their child's name.

There is some good news here. Name regret can go away over time.
