Baseball – 2022 Shore Sports Network Preview Homepage
The Shore Conference Baseball season opens on Friday with a massive, 22-game slate (weather permitting, as always) and as is the case every year, Shore Sports Network is getting everyone ready for the season by previewing all 47 Shore Conference teams -- a noteworthy number since only 45 played varsity baseball in 2021.
Another year removed from the lost season of 2020, baseball should get back to feeling normal again: Opening Day is once again April 1, divisional play should be easier to complete after a few teams failed to get every single scheduled game in, and the county tournaments, which dragged into the last week of the season, should finish much earlier this season, barring an unprecedented amount of rain.
A baseball season is full of twists and turns and the start to the season is always a celebration of sorts. Get ready for the 2022 season by flipping through the six division previews, get to know the best of the best with the Preseason Top 10, keep in mind some returning stars to follow with the list of returning All-Shore talent, and check in on the daily schedule with the complete list of regular-season games.
Happy baseball season.
