Body discovered in Shark River Park

A body, found today in Shark River Park in Wall Township, is under investigation by Monmouth County authorities.

Details are sparse, but Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Charles Webster confirmed that the remains are that of a man, scuttling speculation that the remains of the long-missing Sarah Stern had been found.

The search for the Neptune 19-year-old's remains continue. Two former schoolmates are charged with roles in her death.

According to the Asbury Park Press, investigators cordoned off Gully Road at Remsen Mill Road.
