A 15-year old student at Brick Memorial High School is arrested Tuesday April 24 and charged with making a terroristic threat. The student was also suspended after being removed from school yesterday morning around 10:40 am following an immediate police response and ensuing investigation.

A number of students told faculty members that this student was making violent threats toward others in the school.

Brick Police say the other students and staff were never in any danger.

Acting Superintendent Dennis Filippone is quoted in the Brick Patch as being brief in his words responding to the incident.

"All I can say is that there was an incident involving a student who made a threat. The administration and the police were involved and no students were ever in danger," Filippone told the Patch.
